Chianti Hills & San Gimignano daytrips

Natalie Carol Vadnais.  Anne! It is my pleasure to tell you about this great man, Nello is his nickname, Cipriano his name.
My group was interested in a daily wine tour through Florence with Cipriano. Cipriano came to pick us up every day in a van and dropped us off every night at our villa. There were 6 of us total. His knowledge of languages is amazing. He had no trouble conveying everything to us, was amicable, even brought us breakfast one day. He stayed with us longer than necessary and made sure that we experienced every wine region that was on our list (which we discovered was some what ambitiousJ) Nello would go on and on telling you the history of every area that you were in as well as certain facts that might not necessarily be known to you. He also knows little restaurants off the beaten path that are amazing. We took a windy road through this small, sparsely populated village and were looking for a restaurant that we thought we would never find. Once we arrived, it was, hands down, the best meal and experience any of us had. Nello ordered for all of us family style and each dish was amazing. We sat outside and the rolling hills of Tuscany were our back drop as we celebrated friendship and food. (also wineJ). I agree that it is a leap of faith. Definitely one worth taken with this man. I researched wine tours extensively on the internet. We had some people that were cheap in our party and Nello was very competitive with his pricing so we chose him but were scared we were going to get the shaft which is why we booked our villa outside of him. DON’T DO THAT. Listen to this man. He has friends everywhere in Tuscany and can offer you the opportunity to save money and get a great location. He is truly amazing. I could go on and on about how much of a rewarding experience each of us had, how kind and generous he was but mostly I think his personality made the trip. He is willing to go the extra mile, loves to talk and learn more information and hear things about you and your country. He is genuinely a nice person and will do you no wrong.
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. I am jealous of you. Right now I would love to be in Tuscany, learning about the history of Florence and drinking some good wine, especially with my Nello!
Sincerely,  Natalie

Tuscany & Piedmont Top Vineyards 2014

Jiang Siyao.   Hello Cipriano, thanks for your trip and sorry for the late reply, I was in Hong Kong for business  and just returned Sydney yesterday after a long trip.  It was a pleasure to visit vineyard, wineries, and historical towns with you in Piedmont and Tuscany - cannot believe it has already been six months ago, time flies. You know what, I put together my journals and photos together and now it looks more like a book to share with likeminded friends. Every time I look back to the Italian journey I cannot help smiling with sweet memories, and all this cannot be possible without your sincere friendship, kind organisation, patience for my lack of knowledge, and encyclopedia-like information of history, culture, language, geology, and wine...  I will certainly help to promote your program to wine-fans and travel agents when there are the right opportunities. I may even book myself another trip with you going forward, probably to cover Southern Italy, Veneto, and Valpolicella.

Sicily Grand Tour 2011

Donna and Bob M. Hi Cipriano,We REALLY enjoyed our trip with you. We were also impressed with Sicilia. You did a great job with introducing us to all the wines and you certainly made Joe's trip with all the seafood. Bob and I love seafood too, so it was very nice. Also, your information about everything was great... Quite a variety of dishes, great  the "in home" event where the lady made maccheroni and meatballs. I finished the Tyrant novel and Debi read the Leopard. I also plan to put something on Trip advisor about your tour but that too, will be a couple of weeks. Thanks for a great time and memorable trip. Look forward to hearing from you again. Bring your wife and come see us in Alaska some time!  Saluti, Donna M.  Anchorage US
